  1. I am really jealous. Spending the month of January 2013 in Quartzsite has been at the top of my bucket list for quite some time. I spent Christmas and New Years in southern California and was on my way to Quartzsite when I discovered water leaking from the underbelly of my 5er. Turned out to be a leak in the black tank and one gray tank. Spent a week in a hotel room waiting for parts and repairs. Long story short, we got it fixed well enough to travel but not well enough to use. So instead of Quartzsite, we travelled home to Ohio (2,232 miles in six days using hotels). Got here just in time for the first snow storm of the season. Disappointed and broke but alive and healthy. I try to always see the glass as half full.

  2. "She's very one dimensional..."

That made me laugh! Perfect timing and with that deadpan look, Jack Benny would be proud of you Chuck.

  3. Quartzite has its nerve calling this an "RV Show". It is more of a giant flea market with a few RV product booths. But... if you want 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, you have at least a dozen vendors to choose from.

  5. So what brand is the small trailer that you focused on? My T@B is cool but the drop down floor could allow me to stand upright. Thanks, Chuck

  7. Several friends and I spent 4 days in Quartzsite this year. While I have attended three shows my friends were there for their 20th consecutive show. This year too many hand cream, jewelry, whisk, vendors and far too few RV accessory vendors. Great little town to spend a few days and nights enjoying the desert sun and moon.
